Today we have a fun member interview with Theodore Person of The Curl Prince. Theo is loves writing about Mental Health and Music.
Meet Theo of The Curl Price:
Hai! I’m Theo, 20 years and Non-Binary. I love writing, which is why I started blogging. Blogging has helped me realize I also really love photography and fashion. But for the most part, my blog itself will be about Mental Health, Music and Lifestyle. I may introduce fashion later if I can ever get enough courage. I love every type of music there is (I’m having a hard time getting into country though.) I’m trying to get back to reading, as when I was a kid I read almost every day and could finish a 1200 page book in a week.

What do you blog about on Curl Prince?
Lifestyle/Mental Health/Music
How long have you been blogging? What motivated you to start?
Technically 2 years. I let my old blog fall, but this new one I plan on sticking with. In the beginning, I just wanted a place to share my thoughts, I love writing, and thinking and connecting with others about topics that aren’t small talk. The blogging community happened to provide that quite extensively.
What is your favorite part of blogging?
Creating the content and (at least trying to) get to know other bloggers from all corners of the world. I’m kind of a big introvert so talking to strangers isn’t a strong suit of mine.
What is the hardest part about blogging for you?
Scheduling, and finding time to take pictures.
Who is your favorite blogger and why?
Probably Erin of “Poppies In October” even though she’s recently decided to stop blogging. I love her writing. It’s just her pure love of the written word. I feel like that doesn’t exist anymore.

What do you do for fun when you aren’t blogging?
Hang with friends when I can, read, but mostly I’m a homebody, so I stay at home with my girlfriend a lot. Want to get out more though.
Tell us one fun fact about yourself.
I’m Non-Binary.
What did you do before you began blogging? What skills do you have?
I’ve kinda just been jumping around to whatever I can get. I’m currently trying to get into college to get a degree and bring in money while I try to make blogging a career. I write very deeply I would say is my biggest skill even before I started blogging. Other than that, I can play guitar a little, I read a lot, I’m very good at typing, and creating websites.
Have you been published anywhere else either online or in print?
Yes. I wrote a quick little book back in high school that I published on Amazon Kindle.
What do you hope to achieve with your blog and online presence?
To be able to make a healthy career from it and help a lot of people if I can.
Big thanks to Theo for being part of IBA, and sharing with us your love of writing! Head on over to The Curl Prince and be sure and follow along. Till next time, Haley
