What do you blog about?

We blog about boomer travel to Europe and throughout North America, Articles include hotel and bed & breakfast reviews, fun things to do, and special things to see.

How long have you been blogging? What motivated you to start?

We have been blogging for public consumption for a bit over 2 years now but had a blog for family and friends for a few years before that.

What is your favorite part of blogging?

Meeting other bloggers! We have met some great like-minded people since we started blogging for “real”.

What is the hardest part about blogging for you?

Keeping up with all of the social media outlets and finding our way to creating a larger audience. It’s overwhelming.

Who is your favorite blogger and why?

I don’t know that I can say that I have a favorite. There are so many that we enjoy for a variety of reasons.

What do you do for fun when you aren’t blogging?

For me: bicycling, working out, playing guitar and singing. For Jo: painting, carving, and just about every form of art, also reading.

Tell us one fun fact about yourself 

Ha! A fun fact? How about that I’m 6’8″ tall and people constantly amazed watching me try to fold into small cars and tight places. Beyond that, I can’t think of a thing.

What did you do before you began blogging? What skills do you have?

Both Jo and I were teachers. Jo was a middle school math and science teacher, and I taught 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades before moving up to 7th-grade math the last five years of my career.

Have you been published anywhere else either online or in print?

No

What do you hope to achieve with your blog and online presence?

Our goal has always been a simple one. To share our love of finding fun places to visit.
