Downtown Morelia – Culture & Architecture
Morelia is a city full of culture, beauty, and life! It is a large city of more than 760,000 people within the city limits. Morelia started out with the name Valladolid in 1541. Then it became Morelia in 1828. In 1991, the city was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site for it’s colonial architecture.
