Haley’s Vintage – A Cool and Crafty DIY Blog

January 20, 2016 by Tina Leave a Comment

I want to introduce you to Haley, the lady behind, Haley’s Vintage, a parenting and DIY blog. If you are a parent you will relate to Haley’s adventures with her three kiddos, one girl and two boys. If you love DIY and crafts you don’t want to miss Haley’s weekly DIY projects where she features various kinds of crafts from around the blogosphere.

Haley hasn’t been blogging for long but she has her game on. That is why she is a senior board member with the IBA. Haley handles our accounting department and also works with syndicated content. We are grateful to have her! Let’s get to know her a little better.

How long have you been blogging? What motivated you to start blogging?

I started Haley’s Vintage, a parenting and DIY blog, late March 2015. Before blogging I managed a retail business with an e-commerce store and blog. A couple of years ago I did a short stint on Blogger.

My life was going through many changes last March and I was looking for away to express my creativity. So I finally took the plunge and purchased my first domain. I have been enjoying all the challenges it brings since then.

What is your favorite part of blogging?

I love meeting new blogger friends from all around the world. It truly amazes me how we all face the same things, and how easy it is to learn about their culture.

What is the hardest part about blogging for you?

Being balanced with my time. I am a mom of three little ones and it is hard to get everything done for the day.

Who is your favorite blogger and why?

I am going to give a shout-out to Tina Ernspiker from Los Gringos Locos. Her and her husband moved to Mexico with four small kids. I can barely go to town with my little ones and they moved half-way across the world!

What do you do for fun when you aren’t blogging?

I recently started making hand-stamped jewelry. I also love to knit, rubber stamp, scrapbook, and other DIY projects.

Tell us one fun fact about yourself.

I love carpentry. My dad is carpenter and taught all us kids how to do finish carpentry. So needless to say, if something needs fixing in our home, it is me swinging the hammer and NOT my hubby. I love him dearly, but construction skills are not for him.

You can visit Haley at her parenting and DIY blog, Haley’s Vintage, follow her on Facebook, or pin her cool crafts on Pinterest.
