Today we have an interesting interview from Evan Hackel of Ingage Consulting. Evan is dedicated to helping corporate franchises be more successful from the inside out.
Meet Evan Hackel
Bio: Evan Hackel is Founder and Principal of Ingage Consulting. A consulting firm focused on improving the performance of Franchises by improving the relationship with franchisees and the franchisor.
He received an MBA from Boston College. Evan also has a BA in Economics from Colorado College. He is a current and former board member of several organizations, cooperatives, and groups to which he lends his expertise.
Evan resides in Reading, Massachusetts with his wife, Laura, and three children.

Leadership, engagement and training excellence.
How long have you been blogging? What motivated you to start?
About six years. I am dedicated to sharing successful leadership strategies that I have learned during my career.
What is your favorite part of blogging?
Hearing from readers that they have used my ideas to achieve greater success and satisfaction.
What is the hardest part about blogging for you?
I can’t think of anything hard about it. I love sharing my ideas.

What do you do for fun when you aren’t blogging?
I am an avid skier, and I love spending time with my family.
Tell us one fun fact about yourself.
My first job was raking leaves in a cemetery. Other summer workers were avoiding work and trying to hide. But I learned lessons about what it takes to keep people engaged in what they are doing.
What did you do before you began blogging? What skills do you have?
I started many companies, restructured and inspired franchises to succeed, and dramatically improved the profitability of several large corporations.
Have you been published anywhere else either online or in print?
My book Ingaging Leadership: 21 Steps to Elevate Your Business, has been published by Motivational Press. I write articles regularly for many publications. Plus, I have been quoted and profiled in national publications such as Entrepreneur.
What do you hope to achieve with your blog and online presence?
I am dedicated to the philosophy of ingagment that I developed. Which offers companies and their leaders a new way to win the hearts and minds of everyone in their organizations.
