Have you ever wondered what it would be like to try all of the things? Well, IBA member Keegan Kraemer has done a ton – and knows even more. She’s a mom, has tried drop shipping, has all sorts of fancy degrees and is a serial entrepreneur! It’s only a matter of time until she succeeds – and if you ask us, we think she’s onto something with this blog of hers.
Meet Keegan Kraemer of Thedailychangejar.com
Bio: Keegan Kraemer blogs full-time at TheDailyChangeJar.com, a site dedicated to empowering women to take control of their finances through frugal living and savvy side hustles. As a wife and mother of 5, she knows a thing or two about living frugally and making an extra income through side hustles. She resides in rural Wisconsin with her husband, children, and 3 dogs. When she is not working on her main blog, you can find her surfing Pinterest for recipes to add to her new blog, Foodie and the Fork.
What do you blog about on The Daily Change Jar?
Personal finance and frugal living
How long have you been blogging? What motivated you to start?
Sept 2017-I was fired from my job the previous November, tried drop shipping and selling on eBay and failed horribly. I like to write, spend time on Pinterest and learn about all things marketing, so I figured I would give blogging a try! Plus it seemed like all the entrepreneurs that I looked up to at that time started as bloggers.
What is your favorite part of blogging?
I really like the design and research aspect. I love writing, which is why I started, but don’t do as much writing as I would really like. I like to do a lot of the higher level thinking, strategy and planning and wish I could afford to hire someone to do all the time-sucking tasks, like scheduling social media posts.
What is the hardest part about blogging for you?
Finding time to get everything done that I want to and need to. Also email marketing! I can get people on my list ok, but kind of suck at actually writing and sending out emails.
Who is your favorite blogger – and why?
Anne Keery from Unique Gifter, we have become biz besties! Also Chelsea Clarke from Her Paper Route, she is like my idol! And she let me guest post on her site!
What do you do for fun when you aren’t blogging?
Read about blogging 🙂 I have been obsessively watching YouTube videos on painting, I used to paint and want to get back into it so bad! I am a creative at heart and wish I had more time (and money) to do the artsy-fartsy things I used to love doing-before having a bunch of kids.

Tell us one fun fact about yourself.
I am a military brat and was born in Italy.
What did you do before you began blogging? What skills do you have?
A lot of different things! I have several psychology degrees that I don’t use. I am considered an “ABD” which means I have everything for a Ph.D. finished but the actual dissertation. I have worked in child care, nursing homes, human resources, and food service. My most recent job was an Online Marketing Manager for a pretty well-known podcaster/blogger before I really knew anything about online marketing (which is partly why I was fired).
Have you been published anywhere else either online or in print?
I have a research paper published in the International Journal of Mental Health as well as a few guest posts on other blogs.

What do you hope to achieve with your blog and online presence?
To build a legitimate business that can retire my husband and support my family. I want to establish an online presence where other bloggers can look up to me the way I look up to my blogging idols! To not only develop a business, but a community!
Until our next member interview and feature,
