Travelling Buzz – A Fun European Travel Blog

Today, we have a fun member interview with Maria from Travelling Buzz. Maria is a fun and energetic blogger from Bulgaria. She loves adventures, hiking, mountains, beautiful pictures, and exploring Europe along with her boyfriend Krasi!

What do you blog about at Travelling Buzz?

I blog about adventure, affordable, part time travel in Europe. I give mostly practical tips and ideas for people who want to travel to the destinations I visit.

How long have you been blogging? What motivated you to start?

I started blogging in April 2013 so it would be 2 years since I started. I really wanted not only to share my stories but to help people plan their trips better. I wanted to give tips on how to travel to the places I’ve already been to, but also to be motivated to travel more in order to share more tips.

What is your favorite part of blogging?

Inspiring people! I love when people react and engage with my content and be inspired to take action or just think about the future they want! It’s the best!

What is the hardest part about blogging for you?

1. Finding the time to write down all the posts I want to write.
2. As I’m not a native English speaker, I often make mistakes when I write. I want to improve my English in the easiest way possible but I still haven’t found a way. Sometimes, I use one of my UK friends as an Editor for my posts, but it would be better if I could be able to do it myself.

Who is your favorite blogger and why?

I have several bloggers who I look up to. Some of them are: The Mochilera Diaries (for her great writing), Mapping Megan (for her professionalism), The Boho Chica (again, for her great writing) and many more.

What do you do for fun when you aren’t blogging?

I travel or I try to improve my knowledge or skills by reading articles about different aspects of Marketing 🙂

Tell us one fun fact about yourself.

I’m addicted to cats but unfortunately, where I live now, I don’t have one…

What did you do before you began blogging? What skills do you have?

I have worked as a tour agent for a while. I was also an editor/journalist for an online business media. All that while I was in the university getting my Bachelor and Master’s degree on Tourism Economics. I’m starting my PhD in March 2016 on the same field!

Have you been published anywhere else either online or in print?

Yes. I’ve written a lot of guest posts for other online publications. The list is long so just go check it out here.

What do you hope to achieve with your blog and online presence?

Firstly, I hope to be an inspiration for people who want to travel more but don’t know how. Also, I would love to become an influencer and work with brands on promoting their authentic services in the best way possible.
