What I Have Learned About Blogging in Only 1 Month

What I learned in 1 month

What I have Learned About Blogging in only 1 month!
Want to know how to be successful in only 1 month of blogging? I have learned tons in just 4 short weeks! These are my tips for success:
Start Right
Choose the right platform. I started my blog on WordPress.org because I knew that I wanted creative flexibility and I eventually wanted to monetize. I am so glad I started on WordPress.org. I did spend hours watching videos and teaching myself what to do, but it was really worth it. The widgets, plugins and themes are awesome!
Research Everything
There is so much to learn and new Bloggers need to research everything! I learned about Linky parties, Google Analytics, SEO scores, Alexa ranking and Affiliate marketing. I had never even heard of these things before a month ago! And everything I learned was from networking, asking questions and YouTube videos!
Post Consistently Good Content
This should be an obvious, but it is really worth saying! The content is really what your blog is about! Keep it coming and keep sharing it!
Social Media
Sharing on Social Media is an absolute must! Keep getting your posts out there in the Social Media world! That is how people will find you! I installed Follow Me buttons on the TOP of my blog and made sure to put Share This buttons on each post! If readers like something, make it easy for them to tell others!
Be Brave, Dive In and (try to) Be Popular
When joining Social Media, be Brave and Dive right in! You want to be popular, lol! Minimally, you should have Facebook, Pinterest and Twitter. Bloglovin, Google Plus and Instagram are also HIGHLY recommended. Also make sure to explore the various Blogger Groups out there! Tons of free information from experienced bloggers is readily available!
My Progress
In just about 1 month I have started all six of the social media accounts listed above. I have joined about 20 blogger groups (mostly on Facebook and G+) and I now have about 600 Twitter followers and 700 connections on Facebook. My Alexa ranking is now down below 20,000 and I have been accepted by two different Marketing Affiliate groups!
I know I still have a long way to go, but I have made a ton of progress in just a short time! You can do it too! Stay focused and true to your values! Set goals and work hard to achieve them! I am proud of my progress and can’t wait until I have a larger following and I can make a large positive impact on the world! Happy Blogging!
