At year #1, I made some minor design updates to my blog. As a lifestyle blogger, I wanted easy navigation for my readers to be able to find articles on home, family, food, garden, and everything else I write about. But I couldn’t decide whether to add resources for fellow bloggers, and if so, what.
I’ve only been blogging for a little over a year, and while my following is growing by leaps and bounds every day, I am in no position to give advice to fellow bloggers. BUT – I am willing to share the resources I use to grow. Here’s how I set it up.
Resource #1
Most of us are in this to make money. Front and center are all of the resources I use for affiliates and marketing. I used Inlinkz’s Link-up tool to copy over the URL with my ID to each of the affiliates I use. Since some are straight referrals, and some are commission-based, I included the FTC disclosure statement.
Resource #2
Industry experts are the best ones to provide blogging advice. Where do I keep all of these great articles? On my Pinterest Board of course. And what is the #3 referral to my blog? Pinterest. Hello win-win! How do you set up a board widget on your site? HERE.
Resource #3
My own articles. Again, I’m not the expert, but I can provide my own experience and lessons learned. I used Inlinkz’s Project Manager tool to incorporate all of my articles in one place.
So what does it all look like? I’m so glad you asked! Come by and check it out for yourself and say hello.
