Meet Heather from H & P Artistry. Heather blogs about how “creativity can heal the soul and ignite a passion for life”. Some of Heather’s top posts are about Marble Coffee Cups, Romantic Lingerie Sachets, and Felt Tissue Holders. If you like creativity and DIY you definitely need to visit Heather’s blog.
In her own word’s Heather tells us, “I blog about all things Heather and Paige. Everything from sewing and crafting to parenting and recipes. I’m currently working on a series highlighting my hometown of Nashville, Tennessee.” Let’s learn some more about this Tennessee, USA blogger.
How long have you been blogging? What motivated you to start?
I’ve been blogging for almost a year now. The blog started as a way to chronicle my completed projects and share them with my daughter. As I became more involved with the blogging world my blog expanded as did did my experience. I decided to take it a step further and monetize in the last few months.
What is your favorite part of blogging?
My favorite part of blogging is sharing my knowledge and skill base with others and in turn, learning from my readers.
What is the hardest part about blogging for you?
The hardest part about blogging for me is learning the business side of blogging. I love writing and creating. I love making it a career. It was slow going teaching myself the ropes in the beginning. I have met some incredible bloggers who have willingly and helpfully shared their knowledge to make me a better blogger.
Who is your favorite blogger and why?
This is probably my hardest question to answer. I have so many favorites and for all different reasons. I can’t name just one, and I can’t name them all. I know I would leave someone out. I like tech blogs because they teach me things I could not learn on my own, I love literary blogs because they offer new insight on writing and new books to read. Crafting and sewing blogs because of the shared information and passion. Parenting blogs because I do not feel so alone in this parenting journey.
What do you do for fun when you aren’t blogging?
Honestly, I sew, craft, paint, write, cook, and watch Netflix. All the things I blog about.
Tell us one fun fact about yourself.
I read Tarot cards. I’ve been reading them since I was 18. A voodoo shop owner sent them to me, via a friend. (Now that is a fun story.) I don’t charge, but it is a great skill to have in your back pocket.
