Anyone who has been blogging for more than a week knows that networking is an IMPORTANT part of blogging. If you have been blogging for more than a week and didn’t know this you better step up your game now 😉 Facebook groups can be a blogger’s best networking friend, or they can be a huge waste of time. So what are the best Facebook groups for bloggers?
Having blogged for a couple of years, I have come across an excellent variety of Facebook groups. I left a few groups that didn’t meet my expectations or provide me with the right connections. There is nothing wrong with this. We have to keep focused!
Below are my picks for the best Facebook groups for bloggers. For many of them, you will need to request approval to join. Let’s get networking!
P.S. Tell them the IBA sent you over 😉
IBA Open Group
Well, of course, I am going to put my tribe at the top! The rest of the groups are in no actual order 😉 Seriously if you haven’t already joined the IBA you should. If you can’t join for whatever reason, guess what? You can still be a part of our open group on Facebook. Our open group is impressive, and our closed group for members only is super awesome. Join our open group now to get a feel of what the IBA is all about. Bloggers helping bloggers be totally awesome.
The SITS Girls Facebook Group
I don’t have time to write a paragraph for every group. (Sorry, it’s past my bedtime.) So from here on down I am going to keep it short and sweet with a bullet list under each group.

Let’s check out what some of our other fabulous IBA members had to say about the best Facebook groups for bloggers:
“Besides the IBA, my favorite group on Facebook is CAL, (Chef At Large). I find a variety of recipes from different cuisines here.” – UK from Fashionable Foodz
“This is funny. I just finished answering this question in another group. I wrote about the IBA and how you gave me an opportunity when I was at my lowest. I even invited them to join us. The group is called Momstyle Your Business. The leader, Laura, is exceptional… she has Wine Chats, live-stream. She chooses experts from the group where members post questions and experts answer them.
Then I joined Foodify – Culinary Delights Around the World. I met some great people with fantastic networking skills. They helped me quite a bit.” – Maggie from Momz Cuisine
“I’ve joined and left so many groups, mostly because I’m an odd niche lost among the mom bloggers, makeup bloggers, and entrepreneurs. But the one I stick with, (and have helped admin since last year), is the Blog Beautiful group run by Marianne Manthey. – NOTE FROM TINA – THIS WAS ONE OF MY FAVS ALSO 😉
It’s based on her blog, Design Your Own Blog, and focuses on the design and administration of one’s blog, from themes to CSS to social media, etc.
We run a tight ship and make sure the “drop and run” promo-types, (which we keep limited to one thread on Thursdays), and spammers don’t over-run the place. As I’m on Central European Time, the group can stay pretty clean, 24/7!
And Marianne is just lovely.” – Laura from The Adventures of Canucky Woman
“I love some groups because they are small, and I can really get to know the bloggers. But sometimes I need bigger inspiration or just really needing to feel out how things are changing in the blog world. My favorite BIG group is Blogging Boost. I love to see peoples questions and answers. Sometimes I may laugh a little on the inside. Some of the discussions get quite interesting 🙂
Another favorite of mine is Pinterest Group Boards. It is a great group for connecting and joining Pinterest group boards. For me as a blogger, it really helps to have places to promote my pins. You can find a lot of niche group boards here that can be hard to find otherwise. ” – Haley from Haley’s Vintage – NOTE FROM TINA – YET ANOTHER FAVORITE OF MINE 😉
