What do you hope to achieve with your blog?
My Random Mutterings of Aud the Broad blog is really more of an online journal for me. I post monthly garden pictorials so I can remember what worked and what didn’t. My craft posts are mostly for friends who ask how did you do that. And my humor and parenting and rants are mostly so I don’t drive my husband insane as I work my way through perimenopause.

What’s the best blogging advice you’ve ever gotten and who gave it to you?
Use social media and social networking to expand your blog’s reach beyond family and friends. Who gave it to me? Just about every blogger I respect.

What do you feel are your strengths as a blogger?
My obsessive nature. I will spend an inordinate amount of time writing and tweaking my posts to make sure they are intelligent, witty and grammatically correct.

What questions do you have about blogging/what could you use some help with?
How to expand my reach. I still feel after working at it so long I should be getting more than a few thousand hits a month. But since joining IBA with my other blog I see things ticking up.

What’s one fun fact about you?
I love video games and have for years. Mostly what are known as J-RPGs which are more or less interactive novels usually with incredible classical soundtracks.
