Today we have a lovely interview from Angela of The Triplet Farm. You will enjoy sharing in her joys and chaos as she blogs about being a mother of triplets. My husband and I are always amazed at how parents of twins or triplets manage to survive their kids. They are definitely blessed with extra strength and courage. I love her positive outlook and you will too!
What do you blog about on The Triplet Farm?
I absolutely love sharing our life with triplets – all the tears and tantrums… especially all love and laughter that comes with raising multiples!
I also blog about my infertility journey, motherhood and life in general. I share printables, recipes, and now my weight loss journey too!
How long have you been blogging? What motivated you to start?
I started blogging several years ago before I had children, and unfortunately stopped when I became pregnant. I wanted to begin again once the babies were here, but quickly found out that my time was not my own. I am 7 months back into the blogging world and am loving every minute of it. I feel like me again.
What is your favorite part of blogging?
The creative process in general is what I love. Thinking of blog post ideas, brainstorming ways to share my thoughts, creating appealing photos and/or printables. I love all of it! Well, and of course, the feedback from my readers. I love to hear their praises!
What is the hardest part about blogging for you?
Finding the time. Like I said earlier. I am a mom to very active almost 3 year old triplets. I sneak in a bit of time on the computer during the day, but I mostly write when they are napping or in bed.
Tell us one fun fact about yourself.
I am left handed. I’m pretty sure my son is left handed too! And that makes me so happy. There is a weird stigma with left-handedness. My mother in law even said she hoped none of the kids ended up left handed because things will be harder for them. I beg to differ. I have never had serious issues. Sure, things can be inconvenient… school desks being at the top of my mind, but I made it work. And I know he will too!
What did you do before you began blogging? What skills do you have?
Before I started blogging again last summer I was (still am) a stay at home mom to triplets. Before they were born I worked in a medical billing office. It was not fun so I was more than excited to become a stay at home mom and now a blogger too!
What do you hope to achieve with your blog and online presence?
I read a article recently that stated bloggers will be less like writers and more like business owners in the this year. Bloggers don’t just blog anymore. They speak at conferences. They sell their own digital products. They teach classes. I want this for The Triplet Farm. It is a dream that I am willing to work hard to achieve.
Thank you Angela for being a part of the IBA, and giving us some insight into your blog and life! Readers take a look at Angela’s The Triplet Farm below. It’s adorable, if I do say so myself! Till next time, Haley
